Star Trek: Starbase 777 - stocking-street

Stocking street was stretched out in front of the team with not a soul in sight. The street was decorated for Christmas, of course, Also with decor for a 'Japanese Christmas'. There were strings of light up fried chicken buckets on the light posts (fake chicken, sorry!) and beautiful cobbled streets. There were two houses at the head of the street with the first one being a relatively normal looking home, but dressed up like a gingerbread house! It was just decor, please don't try to eat the house.

“Come along friends! Let us spread Holliday cheer!” Rozamal said as he walked with his crane lightly tapping against the ground, a large smile on his house. “Is that a gingerbread house! What a sight!”

The little path up to the house had lil gum drops! And the snow looked like fluffy whipped cream! There were also large candycane 'trees', very yummy. There was a sign however, 'do not lick' written in both Rihannsu and Standard just to be sure no one would lick!

Following beside Rozamal, was the large Aenar, who in contrary to his usual stature was being dwarfed by the Gorn beside him. "I never thought I'd be bringing holiday cheer to so many kids this year, usually one is enough work for me." He said with a gentle chuckle as he looked around with glee.

“Oh please, my children loved the holiday season when they were young. Granted it was Gorn holidays, but still.” He said with a smile. “What a lovely place.”

Following close behind the Aenar security officer was another Aenar. Wearing like three santa hats, one on his head, and two on his antennae. "So.... let's go in then?" Nikiyta suggested, pointing towards the front door. They could just walk in it seemed.

“Ah yes, let’s.” He said as he walked towards the front door with a small smile on his face and went to open the door.

The door was open and inside the decor was similar to the outside. Everything looked like sweets; the chairs, the sofa, the tables. There was a single large tree in the living room area with 4 little stockings hanging near the fireplace!

The Aenar peeked into the open door of the house with a big smile on his face, as he glanced over all the stuff inside. "Woah... This place is like a real life winter wonderland... I think there is where we need to deliver the presents." He said, as he quietly pointed across to the stockings.

“Then let us make like that Santa man and do what needs to be done.” He said looking at the sack Ezran held, “Now T then, where goes where?”

There was also milk and cookies near the tree! Hot milk, very yum, and the cookies were cinnamon sugar!

"Not sure, but let's do this thing. It can't be that hard to work it out." He smiled over to Rozamal and headed into the house slowly and quietly, looking across at the food laid out. "Oh, milk and cookies? Like the old earth stories. You want one?" He said, as he picked up one and held it out gently towards Rozamal.

You could eat the cookies and in the sack there were small gifts for the stockings and larger gifts for the tree, all labelled with the house number and names.

"Well we can put the gifts in the stockings first? I can also drink the milk. I'm glad it's not snilk, not to be a hater, but that stuff is too dense for me," Nikiyta said as he looked towards the stockings. "Who wants to grab the stuff in the sack? Wait that sounds a little strange... you know what I mean."

Rozamal smoked as he got to work putting stuff in the stockings, taking items from the sack and putting them in there. “What a lovely home too.” (edited)

With the stockings stuffed, the last thing to do was to eat the cookies.. or leave them . The team could proceed to the next house. The next house was decorated with green and red, very festive! The front door was open and there were two tactical gnomes stalking outside to 'monitor', oh no....

# Chomp Well that was the cookies sorted. He trotted up to the house with a smile in his face. “Hello!” He said with a wave to them. “How are you this evening?”

The tactical gnomes turned to Rozamal and one of them opened their mouth to let out a loud, ### HONK HONK HONK ###

“Err, I’m sorry? We’re just here to deliver some gifts?” He said nicely as he walked down and kneeled to look at the gnomes. “Are you perhaps geese in the bodies of gnomes?”

"Are we not meant to be like, sneaky?" He said with a worried look around. "Santa never gets caught, or at least he shouldn't! This is a stealth operation." He chuckled queitly and looked back and forth between himself and Rozamal. "Although I doubt either of us giant boys are making it down a chimney."

“Well, these kind geese gnomes would’ve seen us coming a mile away.” He said with a hum. “You mentioned your child earlier commander? How old?”

There was some rustling from inside the house, whatever the gnome did woke up the occupants!!!

"Pardon my bluntness but we do need to deliver these presents, we shouldn't be chatting up what appears to be robotic survelliance gnomes," Nikiyta crossed his arms and gave Rozamal a judgemental look. Now how were they gonna get inside to deliver the presents?!

"He's just turned seven. They grow up so quickly, he's already like over four foot something-" He turned quickly when he heard movement inside. "Oops, well that's not good! Quick, hide!" He said with a little movement as he headed away from the front of the house.

“Oh yes, my mistake, and 7? I remember when each of my children were that young, you’ll miss it when they are teenagers.” He said as he ducked behind something on the street, his cane clutched to his chest.

Nikiyta headed off to the side of the house to get out of the way of the line of sight of the gnomes.

The gnomes stopped honking once the team was out of the way, but the rustling and movement inside the house still could be heard. One of the curtains in the window was pushed to the side and a little face was in the window. A young child, green with orange hair -- a Pandronian CHILD! how cute! It was unclear if this 'child' was more than a ahead though, since Pandronians were in literal pieces.

He waited quietly, looking across at the window to see if they had been spotted by the child at the window. They all got out of the way fairly quickly, so hopefully they could still sneak back and deliver the presents. "Are they gone yet?"

The little face did in fact disappear once they saw no one outside. Then the gnomes seemedto shut off, the lights in their eyes turning off and their movements halting.

"Yeah, I think we can just go inside? But the people are awake," Nikiyta's little antennae leaned towards Ezran as he addressed his fellow buff Aenar.

Rozamal hummed lightly. “Well, these children, surely already know Santa? I’m sure it won’t break any illusions for them.” He said as he walked towards the door. “Geese Gnomes please be kind.”

The gnomes were turned off!

"Yeah but... we're not Santa, nor do we look like him... We're a group of giant people with a large sack, we don't want to scare the kids." He moved towards Rozamal, and wandered slowly forwards. "Hopefully the parents are asleep, and the kids are now back in their bedrooms? We can hopefully sneak in and leave the presents quickly."

"Yeah, let's just go in. I think we're all definitely tall enough to be santa," Nikiyta said, realising that he was the shortest one in the party. Standing at a whole 6'3 whilst his fellow Aenar and fellow engineer stood at 6'7 and 7'5 respectively. Holy fucking shit. Nikiyta started walking towards the front door.

“And get more cookies! When my family moved to Miami from Gornar cookies were the biggest upgrade!” He said in a jolly tone as he entered the house.

In Miami straight outta Gornar? And I thought it was wild my parent moved from Andoria to Siberia," *Nikiyta said as they entered the house.

There were six total Christmas trees in the living room. Two on the ground, two on the walls, and two on the ceiling! Thankfully the presents in the sack had suction cups so theoretically you could yeet the gifts onto the ceiling, but you'd need to have good aim. There was a picture of the family -- two Pandronians, but they were each made up of 3 parts, hence the 6 trees, one tree for each part of the being. The names of each part were marked on the trees -- For the 'floor' trees the names were 'Pek' and 'El' , the wall trees were 'Dek' and 'Meep', and the ceiling trees were 'Mop' and 'Nuts'.

The food was on the ground, thankfully. A plate of cinnamon rolls and two glasses of hot lemonade.

“Ah, I will place the ground gifts. My throwing arm is not what it used to be.” He said, motioning to his cane. He took some of the gifts for Pek and El. “I call one of the lemonades.”

"Dude, you're 7'5, you can touch the ceiling," Nikiyta told Rozamel, raising his arm to show that he was almost tall enough to touch the ceiling if he were to do a big running jump, not quite though. The ceilings were about 8 feet high. (edited)

"Yeah like, I don't think you have to worry much, you're literally gigantic." He said with a soft chuckle, as he sat the sack down with all the presents. "Two each, I guess."

"Good for me," Nikiyta reached into the sack and placed one of the gifts on the wall, the suction cup made a little Suuuuck when it stuck to the wall. Then he yeeted the Nuts gift to the ceiling. His aim was not very good, but then again, Nikiyta was blind.

With presents gifted, all that was left is to either eat or take the food with them, Rozamal could have the hot lemonade and for the last 2 presents to be placed.

He smiled as he placed the last 2 gifts down and took the lemonade, “Ah! What a lovely taste!”

"Okay I'll have the second glass," Nikiyta grabbed the other glass of lemonade and drank it like a shot glass. "We can take the cinnamon rolls. Did you know they've been around since the middle ages on earth? Crazy right!" And Nikiyta grabbed the buns so they could move onto the next house.

"That is a fun fact!" Ezran said, as he picked up the cinnamon roll and took a big bite. "Right, lets get outta here, before the kids come back." He said, grabbing the sack and slinging it over his shoulder as he headed back towards the door.

Nikiyta headed out of the house and towards the next one which was -- a tree house! It looked like one at least. Very cool! There was a ladder up to the entrance and lots of leaves although with the height of the team, they technically didn't need the ladder.

“Oh! A treehouse! My children had one of these! Me and my husband were banned of course.” He said as he looked to the treehouse. “This is one small step for Gorn, one giant leap for fatherkind.”

"Woah, is that a tree house like... as an actual house? That's certainly interesting." He made his way along the street a little bit, and checked to see that Rozamal was following behind them. "What's the plan of attack?"

"Wait, who banned you from the tree house? damn," Nikiyta asked, looking in Rozamal's direction. "And I think we can just climb up the ladder." Nikiyta didn't sense any obstructions or any attack gnomes so... it was fine, right?

“Acul, she wanted time to teach her brothers something or other. Given she is a high school teacher on the station now, it clearly worked out.” He said, tossing his cane up the ladder and gingerly climbing up the ladder. A light shoot of pain along his inner thigh, and the brief memory of snapping his cousin’s neck in the Gorn war shot even harder as he finished his climb. “And here we are.”

The tree house looked pretty normal. It was probably on the smalelr side for the tall team 4, but normal size for humanoids. The ceilings were 7 feet tall and the 'carpet' of the house looked..... fuzzy........ and it seemed to be breathing??

Ezran made his way over and climbed up behind Rozamal, as he looked across the scene before him. "Woah, this is... Interesting. What's the deal with that carpet? It's like, moving?" Ezran tried to reach out and focus his telepathic sight a little more to see if he was seeing things.

The Aenars would detect the carpet was TRIBBLES!

He looked at the carpet and began to place gifts down. “Well let’s see here. Hopefully everyone has been good this time of year.”

As the gifts were placed, the little tribbles moved and let out soft squeaking noises!!! BE CAREFUL!

*The Aenar reached a hand out to Rozamal and placed a hand on his shoulder, pulling him back slightly." "Maybe not on the carpet, huh?"

There was a single tree, it looked like there was only one occupant in the h ouse. The tree was TALL, good thing team 4 were all giants. There was a picture of a Tak-Tak, clearly the occupant. It was an animated picture and the Tak-Tak was doing a lil dance, he was DOUGIE-ING!

He nodded. “Ah of course.” He said as he placed the gifts down not on the carpet,

The tribbles continued to squeak and soon... footsteps could be heard approaching the room...

"Oh uhh we should finish placing the gifts," Nikiyta reached over to help lay some of the presents out.

He reached into the back and quickly pulled out the last of the presents, setting them down at the edge of the Christmas tree. "There we go, now let's get out of here."

The footsteps got closer and out from the door off to the side a Tak-tak poked his head out! "Helloooo IT'S SANTA!" The Tak-Tak exclaimed. All of the tribbles seemed to move out of the way when the Tak-Tak entered, like he was some tribble moses parting the sea. "Somehow I expected santa to.... not be this tall," The Tak-Tak said, looking up and down at all three members of the team. The Tak-Tak was tall for a humanoid, 6 feet, but paled in comparison to the two Aenar and Gorn. "Anyway, I stayed up all night so I could catch you and teach you how to dougie," The Tak-Tak then began to lay down some moves, and if the team wanted, he would proceed to teach them how to dougie, and do a few more meme dances. Merry Christmas! The team would be free to go to #winter-woodland to report their success back to Santa!
